Project: Anarchy Day Something
I think it's Day 9. Okay! Friday, 1,342 words. Saturday and Sunday, nada. I suck. I don't think I'll hit a full thousand today as I think I'm running a game session tonight, but I will hit 500.
I'm at work, so back to work.

Project: Anarchy, Day 6
Today's shaping up to be my first off day. Try as I might, I have been stuck on the segue into my next scene, which sets up the next two chapters. I've got three ways of doing it and none of them are good enough. 502 words. 4,551 total. I'm blanking on a name, though I'll figure it out easily enough. I also need months. Things that come up all of a sudden... easily fixed tomorrow. That's all for today.

597 today, total of 4,049 for the chapter. I've hit my first scene break. This may become a chapter break, but I don't think it's a strong enough ending to lead into Chapter Two, so likely this will just be a scene break to get Dante, Chamber, and Seth to the next scene without forcing a travel paragraph.

550 words, total is 3,452. Shouldn't meeting word counts be harder than this? Hmm.
Well, it's bedtime for me. I have a gaming session to plan for Wednesday, but that's not cutting into writing so far. No funny today either, as I spent my energy elsewhere today.

980 words today. 1,667 total. Chapter One is about halfway through, though it'll probably land closer to 4,000 words when it's done. Today flowed well; I'll obviously need to clean it up after I finish writing, but getting this much down feels really good ( Read more... ) -

Yesterday I finished descriptions for the main characters. Today begins work on the actual novel. I'm setting a smaller goal at first of 500 words per day, but I hope to move that to 1,000 words a day by the end of January ( Read more... )
