no, it's not stupid, not too many people, except those "in the know," know what it means. It stands for self-injury, aka cutting.

and don't get mad at me, because I did "celebrate." She--you know who I'm referring to--talked to me and I broke my self-imposed silence by answering her question; she was accusing me of something I didn't do. After 3 years. A big deal.
