A-fucking-men, sister. I don't have any advice for you because I am in the same boat. I've gained pretty much gained the freshmen 15 over the course of 4 years. Being in a particulary difficult yr of pharm school, I don't have time either. Blegh. Life sucks.
Eh, pharm is pharm. There isn't anything too horribly exciting about it. Kinda blegh actually. But hey, with the economy like so, job security! haha. Tell your friend she/he should save time and just become a stripper. In hindsight, that's what I would have done. I don't have much motivation for any sort of career. If I had my way about it, I'd sit around on the couch and watch movies/sleep/pig out all day. My backup plan is to write a hit series and cash in on that, but I'm devoid of any sort creativity, meh.
Oh, one more thing. What crash diets did you use in the past that worked? I'm in the same boat as you as far as feeling good for a little bit, healthy or not, lol. Well not as unhealthy as becoming anorexic or bulemic and such, so that's a plus =oP I really don't know much about quicky solutions.
i did read it all. i know how to lose weight, but sometimes it's just nice to hear it from someone that i trust to give me a good kick in the ass. because i think that's what i need more than anything - motivation.
and money. because healthy food is fucking expensive !
i'm giving up meat and fried foods for the next month. also carbonated sodas and refined sugars. we'll see how it all goes. haha
i think th ebiggest part is something you mentioned - just moving more. when i played basketball in hs i could eat whatever i wanted because my season never ended - summer ball, aau, spring ball, actual season, running, personal trainer, all of it. and now, i don't do shit. my knees are all fucked up, and it's so embarassing running in front of people with a slight limp, and a lot of extra heaving now haha. i guess i'm just embarassed to get back into it.
