If my experience with LSU and the business college is any indication, I'm pretty sure that the answer is no. Every course only counts for one thing, so you'll need the required course AND a different course to fulfill the elective. I'm pretty sure that's how it works out, but you can always be certain by asking your advisor about it.
And... "Salute Your Shorts" was an awesome show, nice present!
I know for me, I had to take Econ for my minor, but I could also take it as a social science or w/e. It counted for both for that.
I also have to take a language. According to my degree audit, a second semester of a language could count in humanities. BUT b/c it's for the same major, it can't be applied to both a language and a humanities.
In my experience, some classes count for both. It depends on the situation. My minor (psyc and socl) classes both counted toward a minor and for my gen ed and free elective requirements. I even ended up taking extra classes just to stay full time.
I would definitely ask Ms. Larson -- the University reopens on the 2nd!
ahhh some light shed that seems more correct than anything else I've heard...thanks for the insight...too bad, though! I'd have loved to knock a bunch of crap out with one class :-) Lazy man's way...
Salutre your shorts was a flippin amazing show! i loved it! what happened to good ole Nick anyway? and what about Snick? i mean what happened to all the kewl game show (global guts, double dare, and what woudl you do, legends of the hidden temple) what happened to the shows (all that, salute yoru shorts, dude ranch) and what happened to the awesoem cartoons (ren and stimpy, rockos modern life, ahh real monster, angry beavers, you know there are tons more!) ahhhh.....the memories! :)
