and about steve irwin, i was never a big fan. and it's sad because he's got young kids. but nobody can argue that the dude didn't live his life. he got rich and famous doing what he loved. and he died doing what he loved. it's hard not to respect that.
at first i heard the fight between those girls and the stabbing was over a black and mild. though i've been hearing from more than just one person that it was actually over a text message. regardless the actual reason, however petty it may be, i don't think these girls realized the severity of their actions and the consequences that would follow. although being 18 means "adult", some of these 18 year olds are still in the mindset of "child",whereas they believe they can do as they please and nothing will come of it. sad, but true...though i'm sure the awakening has set in by now, the girl will obviously be convicted of a murder. that's some serious shit

The idea that murder doesn't speak of consequences BEFORE it is carried out doesn't sound CHILDLIKE to me....it sounds slightly insane. I dunno where the parents/parent went wrong, the schools, the peers...I have no idea. But you've gotta feel either remorse or pleasure when you're cutting the throat of someone who you feel is your enemy. Either way, I know that neither feeling negates the fact that you're a killer, and you deserve life imprisonment or death. I makes me chilled a bit.

1. Her name was Brittany Nicole Fuller, Killed by Ciera Limbeck.
2. I am best friends with her cousin, I grew up around her family. So, therefore, I know more insight into what happened. It's not easy trying to console your best friend on the phone when she calls you up and frantically tells you her cousin was murdered.
3. Here's what REALLY happened: She lent her cell phone to someone. The person she lent her cell phone to was sending messages to Ciera's boyfriend. (Who knows why?!?) So, brittany's number comes up on his phone. Ciera get's mad that some girl is leaving her man messages. What girl wouldn't? Therefore, since Brittany's number comes up, she assumes it's Brittany. Ciera goes over to Brittany's house and starts a fight. Another girl pulls out a pocket knife and stabs her once in the throat. Which is why Brittany is now dead.
Yes, as all of LJ can see, this is a f'ed up place we live in. Sorry if I sound defensive or b.tchy. It's just built up anger. It will pass.
