I've been, for the most part, removed from the local music scene for the past 8 months. I have to ask myself if I miss it. I do miss the outlet for creativity. My band has not "broken up" as they say--however, there's some fragmentation going on right now. I'm just too busy to care. Growing and change are constant.. you've got to settle down sometime and certain things just don't seem as appealing as they once were.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. my Grandpa was the same way... a very heavy smoker. I keep telling my Dad and Grandma that they need to stop smoking, and while my Gram has due to just getting over a bad case of bronchitis, my Dad wants to quit. My Grampa just got to the point where he felt like it wouldn't make a difference if he quit or not, so he continued until his emphysema...combined with pneumonia, killed him. Sad, but true.

Lawdy, Fred Sr. is still hooked on Goldeneye? That's dedication. Isn't there a Bond game (007) for PS2? Maybe he'd dig that one, you know, ease him into the system with a game that's similar to Goldeneye.
