So, I had a shitty experience today. One of my former students had a child with his girlfriend, and the baby died unexpectedly two weeks after being born. So, I went to the calling hours. There's a baby in a casket. Let me repeat that. Baby in casket ( Read more... )

When my sister miscarried full term I had no idea what to say. I think just knowing that people were there that cared was enough to help them deal with it.

I think that's true. But when you have people looking for answers, there is just no answer for it.

I don't think you do. His name is Steve and he graduated several years after you did. I think maybe in 07? It was recently. It bums me out, though.
