So...is anyone psyched for Left 4 Dead coming out next week? I'm not really a big first-person shooter fan or a big zombie fan, but I liked the co-op play that I saw when I went to PAX this year ( Read more... )

Reading some reviews about Fallout 3 are making me apprehensive. It seems like there are little to no consequences for your actions, that many stats have little to no importance, and that the game lacks the multiple ways of solving problems which is what I loved about the first two games. Can anyone confirm or deny these?1) Sort of ( ... )

I keep forgetting that you weren't at Ben's party or WaldoLAN, because we had many conversations about F3 there. Maybe you can't alter the main storyline very much, but there are definitely consequences on a smaller scale. For instance, early on, you're given a chance to destroy an entire town, in which case you could potentially miss out on a lot of side quests...and instead of destroying it, I reported it to the sheriff. In doing so, I got the sheriff killed but saved the town. Had I also saved the sheriff, I would have been given a free place to stay. One of my main problems right now is having a place to sleep and heal :P
