I wrote this one:

Persistence is the valuable key
To getting what you want, don't you agree?
But it'd make him blue
If he ever knew
I wish he wasn't persistent with ME

I wrote this in 6th grade English class:

There once was a huge water bed.
The name of the owner was Fred.
Then one night in his sleep,
Fred's bed sprung a leak!
Now poor Fred is a-swimmin' instead.
