I just interviewed with a company for a newly created training position. This is a multinational manufacturing company with a new desire for quality low-cost training. I am so pumped right now. It sounds very promising and I hope they can figure out the salary issue. You are so worth it. And they should hopefully recognize that it's all about quality.

the interesting thing having talked to the recuiter is she has interviewed several people and the candidates with what they want cost more then they planned. I've seen this happen before, and in all cases the salary ranges were increased. They may retitle the position.

D starts his new job on Thurs. He'll be a senior loan officer for some mortgage co. There'll be a learning curve there, plus training, plus waiting for things to close - all unpaid. But - a new start. And a breath of fresh air he thinks.
(meanwhile he has to recover from the sinus surgery he had today and do it fast)
