So my life couldn't get possibly worse and I am hoping a very extrememly kind person will do me the grandest of all favors and put me out my misery. If I attempt to kill myself, I would fail horribly and be stuck in an institution. Know anyone?

I have a better idea. Just escape to somewhere nice and change everything. If I had nothing left to lose, which it sounds like you don't, that's what I would do.
