PROMPT SUBMISSION POST

Jul 18, 2011 23:36

Welcome to the 2011 Scorpius/Rose Fic-A-Fest!

As opposed to previous exchange-style fests, this will be a prompt-base fest, where people submit prompts and the writers and artists select the prompts they want to base their entries on.

As in years past, all submissions will be posted anonymously by the mods, and author/artist identities will be revealed at the end of the fest.

Also, as mentioned in the poll last year we will be doing awards again, this time modeling them and the fest after the way they were done in the 2010 lilyjames_fest with the poll included in each entry and awards going to the three pieces that have the highest votes.

With all that in mind, here is the official....

PROMPT SUBMISSION POST

Guidelines:
+ You do not have to be a participant in the fest in order to submit a prompt. For those of you who said you won't be able to write or create art for this year's fest, please know we definitely want you here submitting prompts, commenting, and voting!

+ Feel free to submit as many or as few prompts as you like. On August 1st, all prompts we receive will be put on a master list of prompts for participants to choose from.

+ Prompts must fit into one of the following categories: quote ("Deny thy father and refuse thy name"), item or word ("beach" or "Time-Turner"), or a scenario ("Scorpius meets Rose's parents").

+ For the Quote prompts you can use excerpts from song, poetry, or prose. Item prompts can include pictures and video. (Please note that the pictures and videos should be worksafe.) And Scenario prompts are just that, possible scenarios for the artist or writer to expand upon.

+ Please note that the moderators reserve the right to reject prompt suggestions that are deemed to be offensive. Please contact us at the via messaging or email us at smrw.ficafest[at]gmail[dot]com if you require clarification on this.

+ Please use this form to format your prompt submissions. If you are submitting multiple prompts, please include as many in one comment (divided by a line break) as possible:
