this is me not getting involved? i suck at ittoxygen26August 10 2005, 20:16:23 UTC
hey hey hey. would sending 'friendly' messages like congratulations on your promotion, and then running away from him in the hallway after he did not respond again demonstrate this upfront behavior? wouldn't an, 'hey, you said you would call me. you did not. i'm kind of pissed. i think you led me on.' be a more appropriate communication from someone following this philosophy? (whaddaya have to lose anyway?)

I am so so so guilty... here's my reply to him:
"Sorry to brush past you like that in the stairs, it was pretty rude of me. Jenny and I are the only ones on the phones today, so I had to RUN down to UN-NAMED PERSON's office and then RUN back up and I was a little stressed/little flustered.. It has not been a good day.
Anyway, so the rumors are true... you are back. Congratulations on the promotion!
