I can't believe how quickly the 'maters try to put on true leaves. They just popped out of the starter mix and already the true leaves are starting to grow out of the cotyledon juncture. That's just cool. I will, however, know next time to leave more room in the cup to place more mix around the stem of the seedling. I know 'maters like to be buried ( Read more... )

I got home last night, and wandered over to check the large plastic cups I have my 'mater seeds started in. I wasn't expecting much, as it's supposed to take 7-10 days for them to germinate.
