NO, everything is DIRT CHEAP there! Well, it's funny how I would hesitate to buy if it were more than 12 bucks. It's considered pretty pricey there already even though I would kill for such a price in SG! I made exceptions for my 2 pretty maxi dresses though. It was a mere 300 bhat (12sgd). Slightly pricier with BKK's standard but still CHEAP for us!
The 2-3 pieces rule kinda only applies to Platinium mall, 'cos it's a wholesale/retail center! Best of all your don't have to be identical, could mix around to get the minimum pieces required! They're usually 100 baht (roughly 4SGD) cheaper each buying wholesale price!
There are night markets everywhere as well, things uber cheap as usual.
Hmm, not everything there is nice of course. But most of the stuff you see on online shops could be dug up there. The stuff you could find there are pretty decent and VERY CHEAP!
Oh, I went TW last year, and was disappointed to not find many nice stuff. Especially since there are lots of nice stuff on TW auctions, you would assume it to be the same there. Stuff isn't dirt cheap either. :(
