Portal 2 is full of easter eggs/hidden rooms/bonus dialogue and a lot can be missed depending on how you play. This is a list of things Chell did or did not do during the events of the game, just so I can keep things straight.
The Courtesy Call
+ Did not open the door right away, stood there and listened to Wheatley's
entire speech, inwardly freaking out the whole time because 1) WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS PLACE IS GOING TO EXPLODE and 2) WHAT DO YOU MEAN EVERYONE IS DEAD and 3) HOLY SHIT THERE IS A BRITISH MAN AT MY DOOR WHERE DID HE COME FROM WHAT DOES HE WANT.
- She is slightly disappointed upon opening the door to find not a fellow human, but another GOD DAMN PERSONALITY CORE.
+ Spends quite a bit of time inspecting Rattmann's murals, because creepy.
+ TRIES SO HARD TO CATCH WHEATLEY but ultimately he just lands on her face and it hurts a lot, to the point where he gets in all of his
pick me up dialogue. SHUT YOUR PIEHOLE SHE'LL PICK YOU UP WHEN SHE'S DAMN WELL READY.
+ On the contrary, she picks him up right away a bit later to get going, subsequently bypassing
all this talking. Probably for the best.
+ GOD there's probably more here I can't remember right now.
The Cold Boot
+ Finds Rattmann dens like a boss.
+ SHE SEES YOU PEEKIN' OUT FROM THOSE PANELS, WHEATIES.
+ Finds the shit out of that
radio in Test Chamber 3.
+ YES she tried to take the cube with her out of
Test Chamber 7. YES it got vaporized.
The Return
+ More finding Rattmann dens (WHO WAS THIS GUY).
+ More Wheetabix sightings (WHEATLEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT'S
CREEPY...).
+ Finds the
singing turrets. DOESN'T GET IT.
The Surprise
+ Does not for one second believe that GLaDOS has actually found her parents. She is a lying liar who lies.
The Escape
+ Saves the
Oracle Turret, because she is not a monster. Listens to everything it has to say, but obviously doesn't understand until LATER.
+ Does not expect to find her
science project. WEIRD.
+ When they get to the neurotoxin generator, she hides around the corner and listens to Wheatley try to
hack the computer. Yep. Every word. With a sort of horrible fascination on her part. A computer that brute-force hacks at human speed? WHAT THE HELL.
+ Unlike her mun on the first playthrough Chell doesn't hesitate to plug Wheatley into the core transfer receptacle and push the stalemate button (there's bonus GLaDOS and Wheatley squabbling if you wait to do either of those things). NOTHING BAD COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN, RIGHT?
+ She does, however, start to get a little apprehensive when 1) he forgets about the lift and 2) starts talking about how small she is, and how huge he is, leading to the bonus dialogue where he
convinces her to get in the lift. SO. She gets in the lift.
+ SHIT GOD DAMN EVIL LAUGHTER GOD DAMN IT FUCK THESE ROBOTS AND FUCK MY LIFE
+ Probably important to note that this is the first time he calls himself by name?
- And if she wasn't going OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE NOT AGAIN she would probably be like ha ha what the hell kind of name is that.
- Seriously since when do personality cores have actual people names she's probably convinced he misread a box of Wheaties in a break room somewhere and named himself.
- My point is that this is the moment in the story where she realizes he is actually named something.
The Fall
+ Hits up all the extra Cave dialogue just by exploring around and trying to use the doors. (
Door Prize and Ship Overboard achievements).
The Reunion
+ Haha yeah she totally waits a
very long time before stabbing PotatOS onto her Portal Device.
+
Portrait of a Lady achievement get.
The Itch
+
You've Made Your Point achievement get.
+ After this though, she doesn't really waste time pissing Wheatley off through orgasm denial refusing to solve his tests because HOLY SHIT THE LABS WILL GO UP IN A NUCLEAR FIREBALL IF I DO NOT GET TO HIM AND KICK HIS ASS.
+ Once she realizes she can bust up them screens (in Test Chamber 6, which basically railroads you into smashing a monitor),
NO TV IS SAFE. And yes, Wheat Thins. It's personal.
+ Spots P-Body in
Test Chamber 15. KIND OF SUSPICIOUS...
The Part Where He Kills You
+ Yep, she stands there and listens to the entire
deadly pit speech+ And the entire
conveyor belt speech+ And she is ridiculously offended by both of them.
+ Hangs out in the
defective turret trap, too, getting even more offended.
+ Basically anywhere in this chapter there is extra dialogue she hangs around for it if only because it makes her angrier and angrier.
+ I do realize that you'll time out if you sit and listen to all the boss fight dialogue, but just for the sake of CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, we'll figure everything gets said.
