 argghhhhhhh. i can't stand my earth minerals teacher sometimes! every time i try to talk to her about something i don't understand, she makes me feel like i'm far inferior to her for not understanding. and ok, i get that our brains work differently. but as the teacher, she's the one who's supposed to be trying to cater to how i learn when i ask

Augh, she sounds so obnoxious. But it can be really difficult to deal with brains that aren't like your own-- like, maybe she just doesn't know how else to explain it. I had a really similar thing happen to me in physics last term. I'd be all, "BUT WHY" and everyone would give this explanation and I'd be like, "Yeah, I get that, but I'm talking about this other thing" and we just went in circles for hours.
