 That's probably a good sign its time to get sanity drugs again. Or rather, that I should have a month or more ago, but these things sneak up on one.  I can't, at present, deal with the fact that I live in a country that seems determined to crash and burn into some sort of horrible post apocalyptic dystopia, only with conservatives taking the place

All I can say is, I know exactly how you feel. It's insane, the way most people absolutely fail to care about anything beyond their own circle of acquaintances and still think that they are wonderful people. And even then, you'd think that they could practice some good, honest selfishness and demand that the mega-rich hand over some of all that loot - but no, everyone's a bleeding heart when it comes to the rich.
