Writing interpersonal relations would probably be easier if I actually had social skills.
Oddly enough, most of the time I can muddle through writing characters who have better social skills than I do (social skills were apparently my dump stat*) , but some things elude me completely. Damn, I really wish I knew. ^_^; Apparently I have managed to convey interest at times, at least so that random bystanders (if not my actual crush... ^_^; ) have noticed and commented on it afterward. But I have no idea what I did differently. At one point I realised I had feelings for a long-time friend, and when I told another one of my friends he was all, "I knew it. It's obvious from how you talk to her." So apparently I managed to do it even without even consciously knowing that I wanted to do it. ^_^;;
