So, today I was having a conversatino with Antonis in which I said I was 80% sure that I was going to Seattle...then I got this and it just sent me all back into confusion again

well...not to be selfish...but jenna is going to law school in boston, too, and schmitty is kindasortamaybemaybenotreallybutmaybe thinking of picking up a position up there
oh, no! not law school. teacher school. i think i meant to write grad school. she was accepted to u-mass. she also seems to have been accepted to a number of other schools, but mass was her first choice, so she's going there. i'm beyond proud :)
That basically means that if you send in the extra info and show your interest you're in. Does BC have the program you want though? As much as I'd love to have you close by, Seattle seems like the perfect school for you. Look at the programs, look at the rankings and look at the quality of life for the students. Also (and I don't know if this is something you'd care about), but at Washington, you'd be at the best school in the State, at Boston, you'd be competing for internships and what not with all of the icky Harvard kids. Let me know if you want to talk about stuff.
yeah, I keep reading over the websites. And it would basically be a choice between two very different paths. BC actually is more suited to what I had wanted to do before, but UDUB much more to things I've been thinking about recently. HOWEVER, BC has a london program...and...yeah...one of my major problems with UDUB is it's PAC-RIM focus and the fact that I would have to basically make my own way out to Europe through them...you know?
agh! so confused! also I don't know what else to send to BC, they basically have everything...maybe another letter of rec? also maybe a letter expressing my interest? i dunno...
how were your grades in college? Mine kinda sucked, so I wrote a one page thing as a supp. about how my grades were lower because it was more important for me to take academic risks and challenge myself than to take the easy route. You could write something like that. Or write about how much you love the school.
Have you visited Boston yet? Because as you got when you visited Georgetown, the feel of the school is so so so so important. On paper UVa was the perfect school for me, but when I visited I realized that I wouldn't have been happy there. Make a pro-con list. They're helpful. Also, are you planning to get a joint degree? Because I know that at Penn at least, the fact that I'm doing a masters means I can't go abroad. There's always your 1L summer or even your 2L summer to work abroad and then you don't even have to worry about taking classes.
I don't see any negative side to emphasize your continued interest in BC, if you still have any! You can wait to make your decision until after they make theirs. Above all, take your time and enjoy being not in school...I have to admit that I didn't take full advantage of it!
