Yay for not having school tomorrow!! At least 1 good thing comes out of rememberence day. Personally, i think they should take the "we" in lest we forget completly out and also move the "s" in lest to the end of the word. Then it would say " Lets Forget" because we should. Who wants to remember a horrible war that a bunch of people died in?? Not me

we remember b/c they gave us our freedom n with out us remembering them it would all be forgotton. Its respectful

Hey Tasha, thanks for your opinion. Technically I don't agree with it but hey that's just my viewpoint. I believe that technically they defended our freedom.. not give it to us. And I also think that many veterans would rather not be reminded every year of the war. They had to be in it and I'm sure it was very hard for them to leave their families, watch their friends die and have to deal with the whole thing. That's the way both of my grandfathers were anyway.
Therefore I think that people who would like to "remember" and such should do so but in their own homes or maybe halls or churches.I don't think it should be televised or in the schools(aside from maybe a history class) and it really shouldn't be forced on the general public. Some like to forget, and they should have that option as well but it's kind of hard to when it gets thrown in your face every year.
