Yesterday I saw a roundtable discussion on sound quality somewhere on the web and the first question to the (very audiophile) participants was "How do you listen differently from the normal consumer?". The first answer to that was "I listen with intent and I am not doing anything else while listening

It's so funny, because today I was watching these two puppy dogs on a commercial play with each other and roll around. It was so cute it made me cry and I kept replaying the scene. The mundane can truly touch us.

Not really. Not at all. It was lame and predictable. Almost as lame as the new Taylor Swift album.

Funnily enough: predictable, cheesy things on TV/in music move me a lot more than the death of a relative or something "real" ...
