two idiots can get within a hundred feet of this man while brandishing pie.(you can't exactly hide something like that.) stellar security, i'd say. i heard somewhere that if he and his family went on a shopping spree at some astronomical rate of dollars/hours, his grandkids couldn't spend all of his money. but he won't spring for a 30 ft. thick wall of greesy, gold chain-sporting goombas surrounding him? or a decent suit? or a non-flobee haircut?
i got nothing against a dude with a lot of cash. but if this had happened to a polotician, or, better yet, one of those stupid whiny weekend-activists? hilarity.
Meh, I've seen Steve Jobs looking pretty grubby for important occasions. Always dressed in black, though. And always with the sports cap water bottle. And, most importanly, always with the Steve Jobs trademark air of confidence. The man has so much chutzpah, he can walk on stage, tell everyone they're going to be throwing out their old Macs in a year in favor of Intel chips, and they still applaud him. What else can they do? They're developers. They're helpless in the presence of so much confidence!
That hurts my feelings to see someone with a lot of money have something bad happen to them. Just like you always know that when someone famous or rich goes to trial they are never guilty because people who are famous and rich are good people, why else would they be rich?
