A honest question...
Sep 04, 2004 00:09
That deserves an honest answer.
Does Joe Sakic mumble? I don't mean just post-game interviews, but public speaking in general.
Remember to answer honestly. And remember who's asking this ;)

Thanks fanboy. I'll mark that up as a point for Joe, I guess.

Hmmm .... this is a toughie. I don't know if my feeble goalie-mind can handle it, but I'll give it a shot.
My answer ...... *drumroll*
Yes. He does mumble, but only slightly, and only when he knows cameras are pointed at him. For some ungodly reason, that man has a camera phobia.

Feeble goalie mind? Those pucks hit you harder than we initially thought? ;)
I have no idea why he'd be afraid of cameras!

Well that, combined with the fact that my father was a goalie, so the feeble goalie mind is genetic.

Joe's the "speak softly" kind. I guess that's a yes.

You know, it's funny you say that...A certain member of our team thinks "Mr. Joe" is just about the greatest thing that ever happened to hockey, and he has a mumbling problem himself. But yeah, he does mumble a little on camera.

Heh, I think I know who you're talking about. *chuckle*
I'm trying to tell my lovely boyfriend that he does have a slight mumble. He's vehelmently denying every part of it.
