If you are religious or go to church on a daily basis, I suggest that you skip this post. If not, keep your mouth shut because its MY opinion

1. They always ask for your money. No they don't ask you for money. It's your CHOICE whether to give or not, they don't stand over you saying Pay us your leave! do you know what a missonary is?? the money goes to help that family, that family goes to a different country and helps people in need. 2. They expect you to believe whatever they say. What's the point of listening to a pastor's bullshit if your have your own beliefs to follow? they dont expect you to believe. You can either believe or not, again they dont stay over you believe this or youll burn in sin I dont believe hallf the things my youth pastor tells me. 3. You don't have to go to church to have a close relationship with "god". Basically, all you have to do is be close with "him" by heart and thoughts. no you dont have to go to church 4. Praying is kind of retarded. Its like talking to yourself unless you do it in your own thoughts. 5. Everyone at church is a hypocrite. Even the pastor. I detest pastors who preach us about how sinning is wrong but they do it

I myself am a religious person, but I have to agree on some of your points about church. I absolutely HATE going to church, my parents force me to go to church, and they say "If you do not go to church, you will go to hell".
The reasons why I hate going to church are a little bit different from yours. When I go to church, I can't understand anything at all. I live in a small town and I'm the only deaf person there, so a lot of people aren't familiar with sign language and all that. So a lot of times during church services all I can do is sit on that bench... and sit. I can't listen to the sermon, I can't do anything at all. I've tried telling my parents about my feelings many times, but they still think it's worth to go, even though I think I'm just wasting my time. Maybe I would enjoy going to church if I knew what was going on or if it was a deaf church, but for now, I hate going to church and find it pointless.
