Casey misses what Jeremy says, but it gives him an excuse to turn and knock knees with Dan. Facing Jeremy, Casey sees the corner of Dan's mouth quirk briefly up before he resumes nodding at whatever Jeremy's talking about and presses his own leg back against Casey's.
Casey wishes, not for the first time, that the table was made of mahogany or something a little less see-through so he could reach down and give Dan's thigh a squeeze. Instead, he rests an elbow on the glass and props his head up so he can lean in a little closer.
