Do you know of any reason why Mileina might have been killed other than the strange reactions that the kidnapping victims seem to be suffering from?

I don't. As far as I know, Mileina and Miss Yamamoto don't talk to each other very much, so the attack came as a shock. Miss Yamamoto never came across as a violent person.

I do not think the attack was personal. There is more at play here than a simple murder.
