Macbook wireless problem

I have a tech support question for any mac people out there. Theresa's macbook loses connection to our wireless router every few minutes. The signal strength is fine, it just drops the connection periodically. She has to turn the airport off and then on again to reestablish the connection. Has anyone else with a Macbook had this problem? I did ( Read more... )

I hate to say it, but I don't think that there is an answer. We are a mostly mac company, and that problem is a recurring one. It's manifested itself in a number of ways (sometimes only while running bootcamp, sometimes when only not in bootcamp, only when there are more than 10 people on the same access point, etc). It's inconsistent between computers, but it happens a LOT...

The only thing that I have seen help relatively consistently is when we changed our security from WEP to WPA. We were using WEP for some low-level devices, but once we changed over to WPA, all the mac's got happier.

It happens to Dirk's laptop too. No fix yet.
