Iceocalypse 2011

I've been seeing that name on the interwebs for the snow and ice storm the Midwest has been hit with. It's been deceptively mild - No great blizzard of snow and ice here, just a constant rain of sleet, freezing rain, and a little bot of snow. The result? We fortunately missed out on the ice storm, but your pics look a lot like the big one we had back in 2002. Do you still have power? We were out for five days that time!

We got a lot of snow. Not two feet of the stuff like in some places, but we still got a lot. And it's blowing everywhere. No school for me tomorrow!

We've still got power fortunately. It's been flickering all evening, but holding in there. Five days is a long time without power. I hope that doesn't happen this year.

Oh good. The snow is almost as bad as the ice. And hooray for a snow day!

It iced here of all places. I just realized today that the heater in my car decided to stop working just now.

Drowning in snow. Even made a snowman on my balcony when the snow was wet enough but now it's partly melted away. Next week's gonna be really cold again, sigh. And I still haven't gone skating although I really should. (T__T)

Hang in there, spring will come soon, right?
