The travel from Greece, combined with Britain's wintry weather, has had me spending a great deal of time lying in bed, unable to do very much or even think clearly for long stretches. I totally, utterly empathise with your situation, being in pretty much the same one myself, especially resisting the "rescue me!" phone call. And very much the stairs & the mash & gravy. I am all in a dither because having finally started to get over Le Viking débacle, today, who should appear on my doorstep begging for sympathy & obviously hoping sex got included in a Special Offer deal; but my ex of many years back. Garrgh, we really must meet up, i reckon you should arrange a nice, therapeutic literary voyage to Frogland, you could write an entire article simply on the gargoyles round here! I totally adore gargoyles & OK, you expect them on Gothic cathedrals, but finding them leering & grinning on the side of "ordinary" houses in teeny-tiny cobbled alleyways is wonderful ( ... )

Hey there, Terri. Both my ends are fine thankyou. I love snails, which doesn't quite mean I love Snails, but I s'pose there's always hope...

I always read your thread on h2g2 and I'm sorry you've had such a tough time, even though you made it sound entertaining, and I'm glad you're feeling better.

The movement which most people regard as being the Moonlight Sonata is indeed rather easy (as piano pieces go). The other movements (it's a whole sonata after all!) are somewhat less so. :-D
