thank you. i am really still 39 until 4:19pm today, so i am trying to savor these last moments...

i am going to spend this afternoon with my kid brother (36), and tonight my wife and i will have our first night out since the big event since her mom is here this weekend to babysit.

last night the Little Bean was extra fussy, so i'm a bit tired just now, but overall he is a good baby so long as we keep his needs met. i am working part time for the next several weeks thanks to the State family-leave program, and this is proving to be a life saver.

I can't believe that family-leave program is so new. (UC doesn't fall under it but already had a similar thing in place.) Total, total lifesaver, absolutely. Glad to hear things are going well!
