Flint/Weasley Birthday Picnic

Once you've got past the eagle door knocker and up the spiral staircase from the common room -- or presumably just flown around the castle on a broom and landed, which seems a bit of security problem, not that Bolly is judging (he is super judging) -- you will find yourself on the Ravenclaw terrace, a surprisingly spacious roof garden with planters

Having finally convinced his dormmates to stop hovering around him and go actually talk to Ravenclaws or whoever, Bolly finds himself a plate of sausage rolls and starts wandering around the picnic to say hello to everyone.

Sofie is snacking on brownies. "Good Job, Bolly!" She gives him a one armed hug. "Aiden will love it."

"And Auggie," Bolly agreed, hugging her back. "I made him a quiet corner. Plus his present this year are these headphones I made so you can turn the sound around you up and down, or filter out noise, or just play white noise. I got the idea from the ones we use for backstage stuff for drama club."

"That's such a good idea. That'll be good for him. Did you get anything good for the big day?" Sofie asked.

Sofie is sitting on one the blankets and she has a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. She's snacking on brownies and watching her friends and family. This is nice and she loves celebrating Aiden because he usually puts everyone else first. ""I want some hot chocolate." But she doesn't want to get up.

"Here," Lottie hands over the chocolate she just made. It's a never ending pot and she could just get more anyway, "You look too cozy to move, you should just live here now."

"I think I will," Sofie laughed. She took the hot chocolate. "Thank you, you're the best."

[lottawolf]

"I know," in exchange she takes a brownie, "I don't think Ravenclaw would mind too much, they can like, work around you. You could build a blanket fort. A blanket castle!"

Holden is still getting used to be "a part of the family". He went from hardly talking to anyone to people knowing who he was and inviting him to things. He likes it but it can be overwhelming. He's picking at some food and looking for Lottie.

"I can't belive Ravenclaw get a terrace and we don't. Do you think they like, added it on later themselves?" Lottie materializes, having lost her first hot chocolate but gained a yellow party balloon she's tied to her wrist. It bobs along above her as she makes a second, better (bigger) hot chocolate and a plate of shortbreads to dip in it. Who cares what anyone says, if you love yourself you're allowed to make your biscuits better by dunking them in your warm drink.

"I don't know. It's possible," He shrugs. He's not judging anything about her. He's got some hot chocolate and he's sipping it.

"Cheers," biscuits and hot chocolate, she's a genius. She leans against him, and can't really think of anything to make her day better, "Having fun? It's a pretty good party."

Fox thought about staying in his dorm. He hates that was his instinct but he is who he is. But he's trying to be a good boyfriend so here he is ready to socialize. Sort of.

No alcohol? Fine. He lights up and leans back against the wall. Aiden is lucky he's hot.

"Hi!" Auggie likes Fox, so it is good that Fox is there, so Bolly isn't going to complain about the smoking despite the smell. "Sorry we invaded your house like this. You want some food."

Fox gives him a small smile, "It's ok," he said. "I'm not hungry."

"Well, there's plenty if you change your mind," Bolly says like he isn't planning on eating every sausage roll he can get his hands on. "Did you work out how to stop the snitches escaping?"

You can take the boy from the greenhouse but you cannot take the greenhouse from the boy, apparently, since after doing the appropriate party guest rounds Dae-Jung's taken his butterbeer and snacks and claimed a bench on the greener side of the terrace. He's not going to mess with anyone's plants, it's Ravenclaw they're probably someone's project, he's just here for the ambiance. Maybe to fall asleep like a cat in a sunbeam.

"Hi!" She sits on the ground in front of him. She smoked a little with Fox so she's very relaxed and smiley.

"Hi," he's a bit worried that Sylvie's gone from always being sober to being drunk and now high, but she does seem happy right now at least and that's more important than his worries, "Having fun?"

"I am!" she says. "Bolly is the best. And Aiden totally deserves a special day."
