Looking good from here...

What I find especially touching is how dutiful Alphard is: I love the way he can't be late for dinner, even though he doesn't know at that point if he'll ever see Albert again. That's just so sweet.

He is dutiful, but mostly he's very sneaky. If he was late for dinner, he'd have to explain why. He'd have to lie, of course, but if he was caught in his lie, his whole facade would've been busted.

He'll be sneaky to the end :-}

Oh, I considered pouting a bit for the lack of puppy-goodness, but I love Alphard and Albert very much, too. ;p AND Alphard is Sirius' double, right? AND I adore the Black boys when they're facing the mysterious Muggle world.

I've had the busiest few weeks ever! Just having some time to get caught up.

Yes, Alphard and Sirius are very much alike. The difference is that Sirius is more explosive and Alphard is very, very sneaky. He was a true Slytherin. A good one.

Albert will teach Alphard everything he wants to know...

I'm loving this series. The formality they find necessary adds a nice tension to this tentative courtship.
