Business Week has rated the top 15 metro economies in the U.S., and done a little slide show. It can be found here.

Texas cities compose HALF the top ten. Numbers one, two, five, nine, and ten, specifically. Then we've got one more in the top 15, at number 12.

Fascinating.

What's more interesting is NINE of the top tenare pretty much in a regional cluster:
Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana & Arkansas make up 9 of the top 10. (with the lone exception being Nebraska/Iowa area. (also notable being that it's the homebase of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett's company)

You don't hit either coast until #13.
