Powers ↯
First of all, Medusa is a Witch. In the Soul Eater universe Witches are pretty much considered a separate species from humans. Witches have a natural inclination towards evil that starts developing when they're young called the Sway of Magic. So, yes, basically at one point in her life Medusa was probably a nice and normal little witch child. Witches have incredibly long lifespans (Medusa is at least 800 years-old). Every Witch in Soul Eater has a theme to their magic, usually based off of an animal. If you haven't been able to guess, Medusa's themes are snakes and arrows.
Mantra: In order to summon her magic, Medusa must chant the mantra, "Nake, Snake, Cobra, Cobabara".

Soul Protect: Since a Witch's soul is drastically different from that of a human's, a meister with soul perception would be able to pick them out easily in a crowd. Soul Protect basically protects the Witch's soul from being sensed, but in order to attack she would have to lower the barrier.

Snakes: Medusa has literally thousands of snakes in her body that she can use without having to lower soul protect.

Serpent Whip: Medusa uses one of the snakes tattooed on her arms to attack. As of recent chapters Medusa has been able to summon three at a time instead of two (no, I do not know where the third one is coming from.)

Vector Arrow: Medusa summons an array of arrows to attack her opponent.

Steam Vector: This attack surrounds Medusa with her Vector Arrows making a spinning, tornado like shield. She has also displayed the ability to compress the Vector Arrows following this attack on command, to surround and crush an opponent.

Snake Bomb: Places a snake from her body into someone else; it will only detonate when she gives the signal.

Vector Boost: A magic that doubles the power drawn in the direction of the arrow.

Vector Conduct: A spell technique used to allow someone to see hidden arrows that Medusa has placed to guide them.
Clowns ↯
The Black Clown is one of Medusa's newest experiments that will be joining her in the game. The body of the Black Clown is entirely composed of Black Blood, offering it significant physical resistance to most forms of attack. It is able to manipulate this unique material body to produce various effects.
Evaporation: During it's first appearance, the Black Clown demonstrated the ability to emerge silently from the ground, without inflicting any damage to the immediate area.

Wavelength of Madness: The soul of the Black Clown projects a significant aura of madness into the surrounding area; it subjects victims to intense images of their skin bubbling, before subsequently liquifying and dripping off of their very limbs. These wavelengths are also capable of jamming signals, within the area of it's effect.

Vector Arrow: The Black Clown possesses a variation of Medusa's Vector Arrow, which are produced from underneath the cloak draped over it's shoulders. However, the amount of 'arrows' produced is substantially less, giving more oppertunity for the opponent to evade the attack.
The Violet Clown is like the Black Clown's dinky little brother who gets no love, but he'll probably be seen more than his big brother. Like the Black Clown, it too can emit wavelengths of insanity, but they're much weaker and used more as a form of defense.

Black Blood ↯
(The following is a select copy/past from the Soul Eater wiki.)
The Black Blood, as its name suggests, takes on the shape of normal blood cells, only pitch black in colour. Since its primary function is to make whoever it infects into a Kishin, the Black Blood induces insanity in the person who is infected by it. The madness of the Black Blood has different effects, depending on the user. The main purpose of the madness is to erase all fear in the users, which prevents hesitation or weakness of will during battle. The madness of the Black Blood can be potent, but with enough strength of will, it can be controlled. However, using too much of the Black Blood's power beyond one's capabilities risks the person being devoured by the Black Blood and the insanity it produces.

The Black Blood also grants the user almost complete invulnerability. The Black Blood can harden the entire body, making it impervious to slashing or crushing attacks. If the user is wounded, the Black Blood can harden and staunch the wound, preventing it from bleeding and healing the wound incredibly quickly. A great amount of strength is needed to break through the user's Black Blood, but it is possible to do so.

The user's speed and strength is also enhanced by a great deal when using the Black Blood. Crona, who is frail and rather unathletic in appearance, can move incredibly swiftly and can stop strong physical attacks with one hand. This makes the user a formidable opponent in battle.

The Black Blood also has a speculated infectious property. Black Blood can very easily be infected from one person to another.
