I'm a Ravenclaw. By default, we're affiliated with birds. At least ours kill things and don't mince around cooing. Or deliver anything. Aside from... pain. Or death. Or something.

I actually quite like birds. At least owls. I am very appreciative of the fact that they agree to deliver our mail for us.

Owls are useful. But people tend to have an 'aww' reaction to pictures of 'cute' animals. I don't understand this. At all.
