Oh, sweetheart! I know how hard it can be (you have heard me go on about it more than once!)

I'd just say, don't make any big decisions when you're tired (especially when you are tired at work on a Monday.) You will always be vulnerable when you open up to others. Relationships always come with a certain amount of risk. Hopefully it is worth it more than not.

Get some rest, eat something that's good (and isn't just going to drain your energy further) and papmer yourself a bit. Then think it over and see how it feels.

if there were no risk involved, no sense of vulnerability, [data embargo] probably wouldn't be worth any of your time at all, even in the short term. at least, that's how it usually works for me.
