(no subject)
Aaaaaaaagh. *strangles in general* Am tired. And very very hungry, but no time for food, not for another 4 1/2 hours. Blegh. Stupid tech writing summary that I have to finish before 3:00. Am not so worried though: I didn't think my last one was that good, but I still got an A. *shrug* Go figure. I guess I really am my own worst critic.
Am thinking about buying more yarn. I know, I know, I already have a ton. But in my defense, JoAnn has it on sale for a buck less per skein than Fred Meyer, and I need three skeins of the same color to make the blanket for my cute wittle nephew Eli. :-) (Going to get three skeins of Delft.) And shipping is soo expensive, so I'm taking advantage of the free shipping for orders $30 or more. So am adding in some colors for another project that I am starting tonight on my new bamboo circulars!
This other project is going to be pretty: all stripes, because it looks great, I'm no good at color designs yet but I want lots of color, and as a bonus, stripes mean I don't have to worry so much about dyelots. Um... but to finish in the timeline I've decided on, I have to knit 1 inch per day. On size 10s. This is a big big project. An average of 5-6 feet per row. *hides* And I'm not that fast a knitter yet. I guess I will be by the time this is done though!
Hmm. Anyone have an extra set of size 10 circular needles (any length) that I could borrow for a couple of weeks? I need them for Eli's blanket. (I'm using my new pair for the other project.) I'm going to borrow my mom's when I go home, but that's not for another two weeks, and I need something to get me by since I want to have it done within a month. Please?
