I am stuffed. Cas and I went to the Red Horse Drive-In for lunch, and the food was *sooooooo* good. (Thank you for buying lunch!) LOL, and she just called me from the store and had me look up an ingredient for her: mascarpone. It's a cheese, according to Google. :-)

In other news, I'm making decent progress on Ze Project (the one I'm being deliberately vague about), and I'm getting excited. I kinda decided on impulse last night to use a different pattern because I found a really nice, supposedly easy one in the Lion Brand website's library of free knitting patterns for the Homespun yarn. I should be able to finish it on time if I get an average of 3/4"--1" done every day. It's doable, even though one row in knit takes me 20 minutes (told ya I'm slow!). It didn't take long to decide which colors to use: a pretty blue (Williamsburg 321), a gorgeous jade with hints of purple (Regency 320), and a lovely soft beige (Rococo 311). They happened to be sitting together on my chair, and the combination just kinda leaped out at me. I only have one skein of each right now, but I've got more on order from Joann.com.

I'm really enjoying working with circulars. Not only are the bamboo needles wonderful, but it's easier to manipulate the needles somehow. I was so worried that I'd end up accidentally knitting the ends together, but it's not a problem: the yarn left hanging from casting on is a good reminder that I'm at the end of the row. Plus I figure I'll use paperclips as makeshift stitch markers.

Cas, I know you're curious about what the heck it is, but you'll find out... eventually. lol! I know, I'm mean. ;-)

Am thinking about starting a separate knitting blog. I'm worried that I'm boring you guys with all my babbling about knitting, but I like talking about what I'm working on. It gives me a chance to think about what I'm doing. I'll let you know when I get that set up, and you guys can add me if you want to read about my knitting stuff.
