First sunburn of the season... lucky me.

The top of my right arm is SUNBURNED. I spent an hour to 45 minutes, maximum, outside today. Those of you who wonder why I love the rain so much and shun the sun... THAT'S why. Rain doesn't HURT... :-( Damn my Celtic fishbelly-white skin ( Read more... )

Ooooh. Sounds peel-happy and painful. It's tough for me to get a decent tan since my skin tends to darken slowly. Time to invest in sunscreen, right? Usually by the time you feel the sun beginning to get too hot, it's too late. Hope you feel better, but don't turn into a creature of the night! <3

It's painful and really itchy, but it doesn't look like it's going to peel. It actually had lightened a bit by this morning. (Maybe because I attacked it early with ice and slathered it in some really good moisturizers? Or a combination of that and the way that those awful florescent lights in my room make colors look funny... *shrug*)

Don't brag. jk! ;-) You are sooooo lucky: at least you don't burn quickly! There have actually been times where I've managed to get a burn within 20 minutes. It sucks big time.

Time to invest in sunscreen, right?Hmm, I think that'll have to wait until I go home this weekend. I'm sorta broke, cash-wise. I'll have to "beg" my mom to buy me some. Usually all it takes is letting her see a sunburn (or remnants thereof), and she runs to the store and buys five different kinds of sunscreen. (And then she yells "SUNSCREEN!!!" at me every time I leave the house for more than 5 minutes, but I can deal for a weekend ( ... )
