He was a brilliant student, absorbing information as fast and as readily as any Ravenclaw. As a colleague, he had provided a delightful respite from the likes of Sybill Trelawney and Cassiopeia Sinistra. As an Order member, he had always provided them with reliable and useful information at great risk to himself. But as Minerva absorbed the silence in her summer home, she knew none of that mattered anymore. He was a murderer. Dumbledore’s murderer.
