Severus had his trademark scowl firmly in place as he swept through the darkened corridors towards Lupin's office. For some reason, this scowl kept leaning to a sneerish sort of outcome tonight-- he could not be bothered to correct this, however. Remus stepped into the room from a partially concealed door off to the side, sighing tiredly at the sight of Snape.

"What is it?" he asked grudgingly. "And make it a bit quick, I only have," he glanced at his watch, "seven minutes."

Severus wrinkled his nose slightly at the sight of the other man. He was so shabbily dressed, one might actually mistake him for a beggar were he not residing in a prestigious magical boarding school.

"Actually," he hissed through his teeth, "that is what I must discuss with you. I've made a few changes to the potion, and I shall need to witness your transformation to be sure that they have taken effect properly." Severus let his face break into a sinister sort of tight-lipped smile at Lupin's apparent distaste at this.

He said nothing, but the horror was apparent on Remus' expression, he knew. This... it was such a privately painful experience, and he had rarely even let his best friends in the room during the change itself... Share that with Snape. Remus narrowed his eyes in an embarrassed, hateful sort of glare.

"Oh, come now, Lupin," Severus rolled his eyes at the man's rather childish response. "I've seen you as the beast before, it's not all that big of a deal!"

Snape couldn't quite comprehend what the big deal was, to be honest. He saw Lupin as a snarling beast even when his true form was hidden in a human exterior-- what difference would seeing said true form directly make?
