I'm a little afraid he might have done this one thing right. =/ The fact that she is a strong female will actually claim a good number of people, particularly people who were previously voting for Clinton but don't actually know anything about politics. asoidghasdjkn. *hates on*
But hey! If you're interested in Obama stuff, the Obama campaign has a lot going on this weekend if you have any free time! Check his site- they have a ton of canvassing events and voter registrations. I'm signed up to do a few voter registrations myself.
Yeah, all my free time with the Hurricane beating down my door. That's cute, Goatee!
What's interesting is that even my dad, a hard-core Republican is saying that picking Palin is about the dumbest thing McCain could do. Neither of these candidates have taken any kind of stand on environmental issues, which was a big concern for me. Usually Democrats are more environmental concerned, but I haven't heard Obama speak on that issue (nor on Darfur, but we're not going there). But neither had McCain. Making this move is much louder than speaking his views on the environment. As I said, even my hard-core Republican dad is now thinking twice about voting for him. He's a Republican, but he has not respect for someone with those views on the environment.
And Palin isn't a strong female. She's still a yesman, even if she's a woman. She's inexperienced, and she's a Bush Administrative lackey. I don't think that was too bright.
I agree! I think he might have chose her because, sadly, she is a woman. After seeing that so many people would have voted for hilary, he might think that having a woman VP will pull many democrats to his side. Wrong. She is beastly.

But we'll see in November.
