Pain Sucks

and I'm not talking about getting a tattoo.  I'm 95% sure I have Endometriosis.  For years I have had weird pains about two weeks after "that time of the month". I have been to doctors about it and was told I had everything from Kidney stones to Bladder infections to "it's in my head." Yeah, I loved that one. Oh, that's gotta suck.

The best thing you can do is go back to the doctors and make sure they take you seriously. Being in pain is no fun at all - I hope things get sorted out soon!

OMG JENN! That's awful, I feel so bad for you! I SO hope that they can solve this problem for you... I hope it's not life threatening or fatal...btw, stupid doctors for saying "it's in your head"! how dare they? very unprofessional...*crosses fingers and hopes there won't be too much pain for Jenn*

Thanks guys! No, it's not fatal or anything life-threatening like that. It's a different, more intense pain than regular cramps. The biggest problem most women have is infertility. But since we don't want anymore kids, that doesn't matter.

I've only heard about endo from a book I read in which one of the characters has it really bad. You should try what Mave suggested and see if there is a walk-in clinic and let them know you want to be checked for endo if at all possible. *hugs*

OMG!!! That's really awful Jenn! Hope you get it sorted soon!
As for doctors who say "It's all in your head" I would love to slap one and say "That wasn't assault it's all in your head." (What it really means is "I'm a crappy doctor who doesn't know what's wrong with you and doesn't want to keep trying to work out what the problem is")
