Oh joy! Oh rapture! Stress-induced writer's block is over, thanks to a sudden idea which came to me just in time for the 'Master and the Wolf' 30 min challenge! Will post it here (along with the link to the whole thing) once it's been posted over there. Anyone objecting to RL/NT will probably enjoy it. *Cackle*

Thanks! Don't know where I was going with it, really. It just seemed to want to be written. My guess is Tobias was the first person to ever pay her attention so she leaped at the chance, with unfortunate consequences. Well, fortunate for us, I suppose, we got Severus as a result! x

Awww, both well and touchingly written. Dammit, you're making me read stories that don't directly involve Snape because they're from you- and what's worse is you're making me enjoy them! *shock* *horror*

And damn, I thought Eileen's house was mentioned in HBP, but I didn't find it in the HP Lexicon or the Continuity guide... *boggles*

Thank you! I rarely read or write anything without Snape either, but there are some tantalising facts about Eileen which make me want to explore her further. I just assumed she would be in Slytherin, though I've no basis for that (just as I and a million other fanficcers assumed Severus was a pureblood before HBP, oops). It would be more fun to have her in Gryffindor. I wonder if anyone has done that yet? *Endless possibilities*
