Yeah, I don't always write fan fic, but when I do, I try to keep it within the time frame of the original story AND I make sure I explain how Snape lived. Because he did.

Prolly a hopeless case as far as canon because she didn't even have canon timeline correct.

Of course Snape survived! Don't try to convince me that the castle thought he'd abandoned his post! What does JKR know about it? heh

For the longest time I thought you were mostly a lurker and commentor, so I'd given up hope. :D

(There's actually a podcast and forum that focuses on Harry Potter fanfiction, wonder if you'd be interested?)

As you can see, I'm still mostly a lurker; don't even comment much anymore.

BTW, the fanfiction author must have realized her plot hole as the story has yet to be updated!
