I like the fact that Harry has seen the position Albus put them in, 'for the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few', so to speak....however I found it even More Wonderful that Harry is finally willing to use his pull, to say if Dumbledore wants his help, then he has to allow Severus to stop going to Lucius, stop spying--it's one or the other, not both! It was horrible, yet quite believable that he would ask Severus to do that, though, in his role as a spy---but for Dumbledore to demand that, after Lucius had done what he did to Severus, I think that was totally unconscionable ( ... )

I have always thought that Dumbledore is quite willing to do whatever is necessary to defeat Voldemort. After all, he left Harry with the Dursleys, even though he knew they wouldn't want them. Plus, he was obviously aware that Harry was mistreated, since his first letter from Hogwarts was sent to his cupboard.

The cottage is absolutely safe for Dria. After all, with both Severus and Harry living there at one point, the wards would be very strong indeed. However, other places might not be as safe...

I completely agree about house-hunting. We're in the process of looking for new place, and are finding out that we're completely out-priced for the decent places. Nice houses in nice neighborhoods around here are going for $250,000 plus, and on one income, we ain't going to make it. **sigh** :(

I just wanted to say that I absolutely love this story and hope that a new chapter comes out sometime soon :) I just re-read all of the prior chapters and read the newest one (somehow the announcement email from hpfandom was lost in my inbox and I didn't see it before) last night. Thank you for a wonderful story :)
