Oh thank you! After finishing HBP, one of my first thoughts (after my brain finished spinning, of course) was "I really hope Shattered Trust goes on." I think we all need it. This chapter was wonderful, I'm glad to see Dria warming up to Snape. I'm very interested in the Joshua situation. Great job.
Just because he showed up by surprise, Joshua has no right to try to make them change their plans, that were already long set. Hope he doesn't even try---but then, he appears to be a bit of a fool. Actually, showing up like that without even any advance call of any sort, is quite rude, esp. in light of what Harry had written in his letter! I can understand the sentiment, but he's best at least be honorable about being sent off, after at most a brief conversation. Just because he took it into his hands to take a plane, does not mean Harry owes him one bit more than he has already done, and actually shows little respect for Harry
( ... )
I hope Severus points out Josh's lack of manners in a most dignified way; it will make Josh look worse!
Thanks for the song. I remember it most fondly from an episode of "Ghost and Mrs. Muir." Candy Muir had a crush on a boy from England, and the Ghost made him dream about falling in love with Candy while singing this song. Quite charming. True love between eight-year-olds!
This was a wonderful update!! I liked how you had Harry too uncomfortable to use the master bedroom at the house. This was also a pleasure to read after HBP and I was hoping the book hadn't made you want to abandon this story.
I love seeing Harry interact with Dria and look forward to the next part!
