 Just time before I go off to work. Looked back at my last rant before I disappeared for a while. Oh Dear - I was cross. It's not getting better either but I will save that for another time

I agree with all that you've said (although I never regarded Emma as spoiled, more like sheltered), and let me add that I think being in the English/British film industry has a lot to do with this. You don't put up with a lot of the crap that the American industry tolerates, and it shows in the way your young actors have been allowed/required to be normal, by their parents/families and their acting peers/directors, etc.
