 With my anticipation -of even being able to book a seat - for the new Harry Potter, my email has been inundated with Google alerts, the majority of them being excellent reviews. Interestingly, too, most of them have nothing but praise for AR's performance, even to the detriment of his illustrious thespian companions. There are only a couple so far ( Read more... )

Well now, some of us get the Philosopher's Stone concept--we're not all clueless, you know. ;)

I love the way Rickman protects his character and won't spoil the story for anyone, especially children.

Headed off to see this tomorrow--but it's just too hot for me to rig up as Minerva. I will, however, bring my wand, lest I feel the need to hex someone.

Re: the Philosopher's Stone thing - I think in America the powers that be consistently underestimate their own people. It's not much better over here really, we're treated as stupid by the gov. and big business all the time. I do think the worm is beginning to turn though - witness this 118 mobile phone directory fiasco. Thousands of mobile phone users used the internet to make them change their policy. That really put a smile on my face. :-D

I honest;y cannot wait to see AR's Snape tomorrow (if we can get in), it's been *far* to long. And let's hope he gets a bit more screen time than normal!
